LANZAMIENTO/RELEASE: (SCN 011) - Laboratorio revolución (2012) - Pablo Javier Piacente

"Everything is done for love, is beyond good and evil".

Friedrich Nietzsche.

Laboratory Revolution (2012) - Pablo Javier Piacente

The concept of revolution has had multiple meanings throughout history, and has been used for many purposes in many fields of human activity.

From political movements that proclaimed the arrival of a new and perfect man, which was necessary to eliminate anything considered away from that ideal of perfection, to other schools who argued that social revolution was synonymous with equality and collectivism, and not should be no ideal (freedom, progress) above that Community concept.

On the other hand, the revolution was also approached from the art, with groups and thinkers willing to raise a before and after in the history of culture from their own conceptions of art.

Does it still valid today the idea of revolution? How do revolutions occur in the XXI century? Do not add the side is urgent spiritual and internal to the concept of revolution within human society? Can we keep ignoring and neglecting the impact of everything that is not seen, not touched or not checked rationally?

Are we doing enough from our daily lives (those who believe in the urgency of a revolution, a change superador) to vary the outdated patterns of behavior, biases that affect us? We bet? Really for a holistic, the depth, tolerance, creativity and love or we fall into the net of stupidity, lightness, violence in all its forms, intolerance, consumerism, linear thinking and literal and many other deceptions that society offers us today?

Can social change without first grow as individuals? It is clearly a world in constant unattainable harmony, because the chaos is part of the language of the universe, is also part of growing up and we can not change the universal laws, but ... is it too much to aspire to a more humane, more rewarding and fair for all and create the conditions for the evolution of man in all respects and for no involution in many ways, as it is today?

These are some of the questions I ask from this sound production, combining experimental music, poetry and radio art, based on a number of concerns, subjective judgments and assumptions, two poems of my own and two fragments of political speeches.

The idea is to shoot new questions in each listener on the question of revolution in its broad interpretation, and why not some answers for those who dare to try them from their particular truth.

The power will now your ears and your conscience.
